Israeli Health records 21 cases of the Indian mutation

Nachmash Ash, coordinator of the Corona pandemic affairs in Israeli Health, said today, Wednesday, that so far 21 cases of the Indian mutation have been discovered, half of them in recent days.

Ash expressed his hope that the Israeli government would approve today the regulations aimed at restricting entry to people from 7 affected countries around the world, including India, as quoted by the Arabic-speaking Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation.

"The situation is under control, but in order to maintain the continuation of the epidemic situation as it is, it is necessary to prevent the introduction of new strains of the virus," he said.
