Settlers launch a new attack on the village of Jaloud, south of Nablus

 Settlers launched a new attack, at dawn today, Thursday, on the lands and properties of the people of the village of Jalud, southeast of Nablus, cutting trees, damaging fences, and vandalizing and destroying construction works.

The official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Douglas, said that the aggressor settlers came from the "Ahla" settlement outpost built on the lands of the village, and carried out acts of vandalism on land owned by citizen Hisham Hammoud. They cut down trees and destroyed a building under construction, and destroyed them. Fences in the area.

The village of Jalud, surrounded by many settlements, is exposed to intense attacks from settlers who try to restrict the livelihood of the villagers to force them to abandon and neglect their lands, which makes it easier to control it.

Douglas added that settlers cut down all the trees that were planted on the site, poured more than 30 bags of cement on the building iron, emptied three cups of water on the cement, and stole construction equipment at the site.

Settlers continue their attacks on citizens' properties in Jalud from the "Ahla" outposts, as they targeted more than 250 olive seedlings from the lands near the outpost several months ago.

Also, settlers from the "Ish Qodash" outpost, a few days ago, uprooted electricity poles, sabotaged electricity lines in the eastern region, and caused great damage to the electricity grid.
