Today, Wednesday, the Israeli Election Commission will deliver the results of the recent elections for the Twenty-fourth Knesset to Israeli President Reuven Rivlin.

The committee approved last night the results of the elections in a final way, without there being any fraud in them, according to the Hebrew channel "Reshet Kan".

Rivlin is scheduled to begin, Sunday or Monday, next week, consultations with the parties to recommend the person they prefer to be assigned to start the consultations to form the next government.

These steps are taking place in light of major disagreements between the parties over the identity that will be assigned to form the next government, especially since there are intensive contacts and efforts to support a government led by Naftali Bennett, leader of "Yameenah", with the support of Gideon Sa'ar, leader of the "New Hope" party.

Last night, Sa'ar called on Yair Lapid, leader of the "There is a future" party, to abandon his attempts to lead the "change" bloc against the rule of Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of the "Likud" party.

There is talk about a tendency for a government to alternate between Bennett and Lapid, amid talk that the latter is ready for such a step and will make concessions in order to overthrow Netanyahu, on the condition that Bennett officially announces his joining of the bloc opposing the right, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

While identical Hebrew media sources said, citing a source in the United Arab List led by Mansour Abbas, the latter decided to support a government led by Netanyahu without participating in it, on the condition that Itamar bin Gafir, the far-right, does not assume any ministerial position in it.

Abbas is calling for an increase in the special budget to fight crime in the Arab community, abolishing the "Kaments" law related to construction, changing the "nationalism" law or introducing an amendment to it, and granting local authorities greater powers.
