Nine young men were hit with sponge bullets and dozens of people were severely suffocated due to the suppression of the occupation army today, Friday, the weekly march in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, which was organized to denounce the continued attacks of the colonists against the Palestinian people.
The media spokesperson for the Fatah movement in the Qalqilya region and the coordinator of the popular resistance in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Shteiwi, stated in a statement that the occupation soldiers attacked the participants in the march with heavy use of sponge bullets and tear gas canisters, resulting in 9 injuries Two of them were hospitalized, while the other cases were treated in the field.
Shteiwi confirmed that the occupation soldiers stormed the village of Kafr Qaddum, where the youths confronted them in violent confrontations centered around the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque, pointing to the failure of an ambush by the occupation soldiers in an abandoned house without any arrests.
The march began with the participation of hundreds of Kafr Qaddum after the prayers despite the cold and rainy weather, chanting national slogans calling for escalation of popular resistance and confronting the colonialists' attacks.
