The Washington Post: Director "Cia" listened to audio recordings of the murder of "Khashoggi "

London _ Agencies

The Washington Post, on Wednesday, claimed that the director of the CIA, Gina Hasbel, had listened to audio recordings of the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi during her visit to Turkey.

This came in the news published by the newspaper, and assigned it to the "sources (unnamed) to have information about the meetings of Hasbel " In Turkey, which began to visit on Tuesday, in order to review the evidence on the case of the killing of Khashoggi.

According to the news, the sources said the sound recordings were "convincing" and that this would put more pressure on Saudi Arabia.

Eighteen days after the crime, Riyadh admitted last Saturday that Khaashggi was killed inside his consulate in Istanbul, saying it was caused by a "fight and entanglement" that led to his death.

Later, Riyadh announced the arrest of 18 Saudis for questioning in the case, while the whereabouts of Khashoggi's body had not yet been disclosed.

The novel was widely questioned by Western countries and international human rights organizations, and contradicted by unofficial Saudi novels, including an official announcement that a "team of 15 Saudis were sent to meet Khashoggi, drugged and kidnapped, before they killed him by choking in a fight when he resisted."
