The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 6 deaths, 540 new cases of "Corona" virus, and 464 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the virus in Palestine, the minister confirmed that new deaths were recorded for a 61-year-old citizen of Al-Yamoun in the Jenin governorate, a 61-year-old citizen from Askar camp and a 59-year-old woman from Asira Al-Shamaliya in the Nablus governorate, a citizen (89 years). And another, 71, from Tulkarm, an 81-year-old citizen from Hebron.
She said that the new injuries were distributed according to the following governorates: Hebron (75), Nablus (103), Bethlehem (39), Qalqilya (4), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (49), Jenin (32), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (12), Salfit. (4), Tulkarm (27), Tubas (3), Gaza Strip (185), the suburbs of Jerusalem (7), and 4,053 tests were confirmed.
It stated that cases of recovery were recorded in the governorates as follows: Hebron (73), Salfit (12), Jenin (40), Bethlehem (113), Tulkarm (35), Tubas (2), Gaza (189), noting that The rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 88.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.7%, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 35 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 8 patients on artificial respirators.
