Settlers today tried to prevent farmers from picking up olives between Talvet and Qrayot villages southeast of Nablus.

More than 150 settlers attacked farmers during the olive harvest in the territories between Talvet and Qrayot villages south-east of nablus, and carried out an act of provocation to force them to leave their land, according to the official of the North bank settlement file, Ghassan Daghles.

These provocations, which come at the beginning of the olive season, are aimed at terrorizing farmers and discouraging them from going to their land to harvest olives, he said.
