54 Israelis storm Al-aqsa Mosque

JERUSALEM _ Palestine News Network

Groups of Jewish settlers stormed the Al-aqsa mosque compound on Monday morning after being protected by the Israeli occupation police and its special Forces.

According to the Islamic Endowments Department of the "quds press", the Israeli occupation police allowed 52 settlers to break into the Al-aqsa mosque on the side of the "bab al-mughrabi", and wandered with them in their courtyards, amid receiving explanations about the alleged "structure".

Two Israeli officers stormed the mosque during the morning raid, amid the presence of heavily armed special forces that worked to secure the incursions, she said.

She pointed out that the "door of the series" (one of the gates of the AL-AQSA Mosque) saw prayers and singing for Jewish settlers, after they left the Aqsa and finished the Incursion.

The past few weeks have seen more than 2,000 settlers storming the Al-aqsa Mosque in celebration of the Hebrew holidays, and there have been numerous settler violations in those Days.

The Israeli occupation police allow the settlers a second round of storming, which begins after the Zuhr prayer is completed for a full hour.

The keys to the "bab al-mughrabi" have been taken over by the Israeli police since the occupation of the city of Jerusalem in 1967, and since then they have controlled the visits (foreign tourists and settler intruders).
