The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today, Thursday, that 596 new cases of coronavirus and 1270 cases of recovery had been registered in the last 24 hours.

The ministry said in a statement, that the recovery rate in the Hebron Governorate increased to 30.3% of the total injured, adding that there is a noticeable increase in the number of injuries in Jerusalem.

In its daily report, the ministry added that 306 injuries were recorded in Jerusalem governorate, 32 injuries in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, 167 injuries in Hebron governorate, two injuries in Tulkarm governorate, 15 injuries in Bethlehem governorate, 6 injuries in Salfit governorate, two injuries in the governorate Jenin, 48 injuries in Nablus governorate, 10 injuries in Jericho and Al Aghwar Governorate, 5 injuries in Qalqilya Governorate, 3 injuries in Tubas Governorate.

The ministry continued: In the last 24 hours, 3 deaths were recorded in the Hebron governorate, while the number of recovery cases reached 1270, including 700 cases recorded in the Hebron governorate, 500 in the city of Jerusalem, 46 in the Bethlehem governorate, 21 in the Nablus governorate, and 3 in the Jenin governorate.

The Ministry of Health indicated that there are 16 cases in intensive care rooms, 5 of which are connected to respirators.

She explained that the outcome of active (actual) cases in Palestine reached 8411, while the number of recovery cases increased to 3394, or 28.6% of the total recorded cases, and deaths to 70.

In the 3485 laboratories of the Ministry of Health, 348 corona viruses were examined for samples of a suspected virus.

With regard to the distribution of new infections within the governorates, the Ministry said that it is as follows:

• Jerusalem Governorate: 250 Jerusalem city - 1 Qatana - 1 Bedouin - 14 Qalandia camp - 5 Ram - 3 Anata - 4 Kafr Aqab - 14 Al-Eizariya - 1 Abu Dis 1 - Beit Surik - 1 Hazma - 5 Jaba - 1 Birnabala - 4 house Annan - 1 pentagon.
