The Israeli occupation forces, today, Saturday, suppressed participants in a peaceful popular activity for planting olive trees in the "Khalat Al-Sfira" area, the Al-Baqia Plain, east of Toubas.
The occupation soldiers fired tear gas towards the participants in the event, which was called by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority and the national action factions, on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the start of the Democratic Front.
Member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front, Magda Al-Masry, indicated that this event comes to confirm that our people will not give up a single inch of their land. .
In turn, the activist in the popular resistance Khaled Mansour said, "We came to this area that is threatened with seizure and closure, to tell the occupation that this land is our land and we will plant it with trees, and it is the young people who protect it."
