On Wednesday, the Israeli occupation authorities closed all the corridors and squares of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron in front of worshippers, on the pretext of the Jewish celebrations of the so-called "Yom Kippur".

The Israeli occupation authorities sealed the Tomb of the Patriarchs and permitted the settlers to celebrate Eid at the Haram and its courtyards, the head of the Tomb of the Patriarchs, Sheikh Abu Asineh, said.

He added that the occupation authorities will close the Haram al-Sharif on Tuesday and Wednesday on 24 and 25/9, as well, on the pretext of celebrating the "Feast of the Throne", and on Saturday 27/10 on the pretext of celebrating "Sara sat ".

The Al-Haram al-Sharif was closed by the Israeli occupation authorities last Sunday to celebrate "Yom Kippur".

He noted that the Israeli occupation forces had divided the Ibrahimi Mosque after the horrific massacre perpetrated by settler Baruch Goldstein on 25 February February 1994, in which 30 martyrs who were performing Fajr prayers were killed in two wings, the largest part of which was allocated to settlers, and the closures coincided with attacks from Before the settlers against the worshippers, the shrine of the sanctuary, as well as preventing the lifting of the ears through his headphones.

He said that the "Shamgar " commission has made several decisions, including: Closing the sanctuary in front of worshippers on Jewish holidays, and September month is the most days of the holidays of the Jews 10, 16, and 19, as well as the 25 and 26/9 coming for the occasion of the feast of "throne ".

The director of Awqaf stressed that the Ibrahimi Mosque "is an Islamic Masjid completely full of its areas and all its parts and has nothing to do with Jews, and all actions taken against him are void."
