China will launch the Mars probe next July

China announced that it will launch the first probe of the Mars mission in July this year, adding that this is the first time that China discloses the month in which its program to explore Mars.

The newspaper, citing sources from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, said the Mars probe would be sent by the Long March-5Y4 carrier rocket.

The Long March-5 Y4 carrier rocket recently completed a 100-second test of a high-oxygen hydrogen-oxygen engine, the last test of the engine before final assembly.

According to the company, China will send a probe into the orbit of Mars before landing and deploying a roaming probe to it.

In 2020, the Long March-5 and Y4 missile will carry out many missions, including launching the Mars probe and re-sampling the moon.

Twenty-four tests of the high-performance hydrogen-oxygen missile engine will be conducted for these missions this year.
