Many injures and burned 450 olive trees attacked by settlers in Burin

Settlers assaulted foreign citizens and activists and burned hundreds of olive trees in the town of Burin, south of Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas, a settlement official in the northern West Bank, said settlers from the Yitzhar settlement attacked the family of Mohammed al-Assous and foreign solidarity farmers who were picking olives in the southeast.

He pointed out that the settlers were beaten by iron pipes on the citizens and solidarity, which led to the injury of five solidarity wounds and various bruises, including an Israeli solidarity and described him seriously injured, and was flown to an Israeli hospital.

He added that the settlers set fire to olive fields, spread over large areas and led to the burning of 450 olive trees.

He pointed out that the attacks of settlers escalated since the beginning of the olive season significantly, where there were 30 attacks throughout the West Bank, of which Burin share six attacks.
