56 wounded by Israeli occupation forces east of Gaza

At least 56 people were injured on Friday by the Israeli occupation forces cracking down on peaceful weekly marches in eastern Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health, 38 of the injuries were live bullets, 22 children and three women were injured, and an ambulance was targeted with rubber-coated metal bullets in eastern Gaza.

Israeli soldiers positioned in military towers and behind the walls fired live ammunition, rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at participants in the sites of the eastern Gaza Strip.

The Supreme National Commission for Return and Breaking the Siege called on the people of the Gaza Strip to participate in the day's activities which raise the slogan "refugees of Lebanon".
