Army of occupation invades the headquarters of the Palestinian news Agency in Ramallah

Israeli occupation soldiers stormed the Palestinian news Agency (WAFA) headquarters in the Al-Bireh neighborhood of the city on Monday afternoon, preventing journalists and workers from leaving the area, and targeting the agency's photographers with tear gas and sound bombs, injuring the staff in cases Bottleneck.

The official news agency said that the forces "checked the identities of the employees in their offices and prevented them from leaving, assaulted a photographer in payment and profanity and took over the video recordings of surveillance cameras for the period from yesterday evening to Thursday evening."

The general supervisor of the official media, Minister Ahmed Assaf, denounced the Israeli incursion and considered this a "crime added to the record of the occupation crimes against the Palestinian media."

The Ministry of Information denounced the incident and called on the UN Security Council to implement its resolution 2222 to provide protection to journalists, and to ensure that its aggressors are prevented from escaping punishment.
