Two organizations affiliated with the pro-Israel lobby in the United States demanded the expulsion of a local radio station presenter called (WXXI) based in Rochester, New York, over his hosting of a talk show entitled “Why should the African-American minority support the cause? Palestinian.”
The organization "Brighton Stands Against Anti-Semitism" and the "Jewish Federation" in Rochester called for the dismissal of broadcaster Evan Dawson from his job over the episode.
The organizations also called on Brighton City Councilwoman Robin Welt to apologize for her participation in the episode.
