The Kyiv Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed that Ukrainian documentary filmmaker and photographer Max Levin, missing since mid-March, was found dead in a village near the capital.
According to preliminary information, Russian soldiers shot Levin, but investigations are still ongoing.
The authorities did not specify the age of Levin, and the director was born in 1981.
