Tension in Sheikh Jarrah as the occupation continues

The state of security tension continued inside the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, east of occupied Jerusalem, for the seventh consecutive day, due to the Israeli attacks.

This evening, Saturday, the occupation forces attacked several times the citizens and solidarity activists in the neighborhood, amid a state of alert in all areas of the neighborhood and at its entrances.

The journalists’ cameras documented the occupation forces’ beating of a number of young men and the Jerusalemite activist, Muhammad Abu al-Homs, before trying to force him to leave the neighborhood, and issuing a traffic ticket for his vehicle before provocatively searching it.

The occupation forces also forced the solidarity activists to evacuate the neighborhood completely, after performing the evening prayer. Previously, they arrested the young man, Raed Shalash, from inside the neighborhood.
