Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev denied what was reported about his country's intention to invade Ukraine, according to the Russian "Interfax" news agency.
And the “Bloomberg” news agency quoted Patrushev as saying that these allegations are “very absurd.”
Speaking at a ceremony in the western city of Saint Petersburg to commemorate the victims of the Leningrad Siege, Patrushev said that Russia did not want war and that those who implied otherwise were chanting "selfish slanders."
