The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed today, Saturday, that the Israeli occupation is still preventing the entry of diagnostic medical devices, an oxygen generating station, and spare parts needed to repair many devices, for the benefit of hospitals in the Strip.
Ibrahim Abbas, director of the Medical Imaging Unit at the Ministry of Health, said that this ban comes at a time when the world is preparing to confront the Corona pandemic.
"We urgently need to enhance preparedness with the start of the fourth wave and the high rate of infection with the Omicron mutant" in the Gaza Strip, he added.
