Pakistani man kills his three daughters to end their marital dispute

 Pakistani police said today, Monday, that a father killed his three daughters after an argument with his wife in eastern Pakistan.
The girls (9, 8 and 6 years old) were killed after being dumped in an irrigation canal in the town of Qusour near the Indian border. Andol Majid, a policeman, described the incident as highlighting the problem of cruelty towards children.


Police arrested the man, who confessed to the murder, Majed said, adding that the girls' bodies were recovered from the canal.
Majed added that the father will be charged with several counts of murder, and could face the death penalty if convicted.
