Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 8 Palestinians are missing in the accident of the sinking of the boat in the Aegean Sea, and work is underway to verify their fate

The political advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Ahmed Al-Deek, said that 8 Palestinians are missing in the accident that the boat sank in the Aegean Sea, and work is underway to verify their fate.

 

Al-Deek said, in a statement to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today, Wednesday, that based on the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas and the instructions of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riyad Al-Malki, the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Greece is following up the details of the shipwreck in the Aegean Sea and off the island of Paros, and is following up this issue with the competent Greek authorities. Where it was confirmed that there are 8 Palestinians among the missing, and work is underway to verify their fate.

 

Ambassador Al-Deek expressed his hope to obtain more detailed and accurate information regarding the fate of the eight Palestinians in the next few days.
