Injuries from suffocation during confrontations with the occupation in Rummana, west of Jenin

A number of citizens were injured this evening, Sunday, by suffocation with tear gas, during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces, in the village of Rummana, west of Jenin.

Local sources told “Wafa” that the occupation forces stormed the village, which led to the outbreak of confrontations, during which the soldiers fired sound bombs, tear gas and metal bullets at the youths and houses, as a result of which a number of civilians suffocated.

In the same context, the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint on the main street in Romaniyeh, in the vicinity of UNRWA schools, and began stopping vehicles and checking the identities of their passengers.
