Prince Charles and his wife leave Egypt after a two-day visit

 Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, Crown Prince of Britain, and his wife, “Camilla,” Duchess of Cornwall, left Egypt on Friday evening at the end of their two-day visit.


On Thursday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his wife received Prince Charles and his wife.


The Crown Prince of Britain also met with His Eminence the Grand Imam, Dr. “Ahmed Al-Tayeb”, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, and a number of personalities, and visited some sites in Cairo and Alexandria (north).


Gareth Bailey, Britain's ambassador to Cairo, said - in a post on his account on the social networking site (Twitter) -: "Your Royal Highnesses: Thank you for visiting Egypt .. Egypt, thanks for the wonderful welcome to their Royal Highnesses."
