The occupation prevents farmers from working on their lands in southwest Hebron

Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces prevented farmers from working on their lands in the Tabqa area, southwest of Hebron.

The mayor of Deir Samet, Shaheen al-Rayyan, confirmed that the occupation forces and settlers prevented farmers from working on their lands, and stopped drilling equipment from working in the Tabqa area, west of Dura town.

Shaheen pointed out that the occupation forces, accompanied by the settlers of “Nagahot” settlement, which is built on citizens’ lands between the villages of Deir Samet and Beit Awa, prevent citizens from working on their lands on an almost daily basis, under the pretext that the area is classified as (C), with the aim of settlement expansion.

On the other hand, the occupation forces closed the road leading to the Shaab al-Butm area, east of Yatta, and photographed citizens' homes, including a building that was notified of demolition.
