Occupation police arrest 73 Palestinians south of Hebron

The occupation police announced the arrest of 73 Palestinian workers on Thursday evening, near the Mitar crossing, south of Hebron, based on what it said was “intelligence information.”

According to the occupation police, “Border guards fighters were waiting for the Palestinians after they crossed the fence, as a bus was waiting for them to take them to the Green Line.”

The statement added that it was observed that the bus had stopped before the crossing, and it had unloaded the passengers, then passed through the crossing and continued on its way and entered the adjacent bush area. Then the passengers who did not have permits to enter Israel slipped through a gap in the fence, and when they boarded the bus again, the Border Police force intercepted it. The bus driver and the intruders were arrested.”

The arrested Palestinians were transferred to the occupation police for interrogation.
