Dozens of injured and two young men arrested in clashes at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh

The Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men, and injured several others, during clashes that erupted today, Thursday, at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, after suppressing a march that began on the 17th anniversary of the departure of the martyr President Yasser Arafat.

Palestinian Red Crescent Society crews dealt with 46 injuries, distributed as 26 suffocation as a result of tear gas inhalation, 14 from rubber-coated metal bullets, from which a chest injury was taken to hospital, and 6 injuries as a result of falling.

The occupation soldiers surrounded the demonstrators and set ambushes for them, and two of them were arrested, whose identities are not yet known.
