9 deaths and 440 new cases of corona

Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Health recorded 9 deaths, and 440 new infections with the Corona virus, after examining 4,412 samples.
Four deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, two in Jenin, and one in Hebron, Tubas and Nablus.
The new infections were distributed as 181 in the West Bank and 259 in Gaza, and 252 cases of recovery were recorded in the West Bank and 529 in Gaza.
The Ministry of Health indicated that the new infections were recorded as follows: Jenin 34, Bethlehem 21, Tubas 9, Jerusalem suburbs 7, Tulkarm 11, Hebron 42, Nablus 29, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 4, Salfit 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 21, Qalqilya 1.”
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 65 patients in intensive care rooms, while 135 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including 10 on ventilators.
The number of those who received vaccine doses in Palestine reached 1,147,211, including 806,165 in the West Bank, and 341,046 in the Gaza Strip.
The recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine was 96.3%, while the percentage of active infections was 2.7%, and the death rate was 1% of the total infections.
