Settlers steal olive harvest equipment from Burin lands

Settlers stole this evening, Wednesday, equipment used for picking olives, from the lands of Burin village, south of Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, said that settlers from the “Yitzhar” settlement stole equipment and “mattresses” used by farmers to pick olives, from the lands of southern Burin.

Douglas pointed to the recent escalation of settler attacks, including theft, chopping and burning of olive trees.
