Ministry of Health: 9 Deaths and 946 new infections with the Corona virus

Today, Thursday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced the registration of 9 deaths, 946 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 1,546 cases of recovery, during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila indicated that seven deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, one in Jenin, and another in Nablus. It was also reported by the official Wafa news agency.
She indicated that the new infections were recorded as follows: “Tubas 17, Jenin 40, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 12, Qalqilya 7, Nablus 37, Bethlehem 18, Salfit 6, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 40, Jerusalem suburbs 6, Tulkarm 9, Hebron 26, sector Gaza 728".
She added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: “Tubas 15, Jenin 40, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 25, Qalqilya 22, Nablus 125, Bethlehem 17, Salfit 24, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 87, Jerusalem suburbs 5, Tulkarm 150, Hebron 31, Gaza Strip. 1005".
And it indicated that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 93.9%, while the percentage of active infections was 5.1%, and the death rate was 1% of the total infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 81 patients with corona in intensive care rooms, while 172 patients are being treated in corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, 18 of whom are connected to artificial respirators.
