Democratic Congresswoman Mary Newman affirmed her solidarity and support for the rights of Palestinians who suffer forcible displacement by the occupation in Jerusalem and separate areas in the West Bank, in violation of international humanitarian law.
During a meeting hosted by the Palestinian American Club, Newman stressed to representatives of a number of institutions and unions active in the Arab American community in the state of Illinois, her constant support for important issues that concern the community and its rights in various fields.
