The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Monday, 16 deaths, 2,103 new cases of corona and 1,262 recoveries, in the last 24 hours.

She added that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine amounted to 91.6%, while the percentage of active infections was 7.4%, and the death rate was 1% of the total infections.

The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 61, Tulkarm 155, Nablus 203, Jerusalem suburbs 32, Salfit 34, Jenin 101, Tubas 25, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 21, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 117, Bethlehem 18, Hebron 36, Gaza Strip 1300".

Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: “Qalqilya 108, Tulkarm 140, Nablus 331, Jerusalem suburbs 17, Salfit 71, Jenin 106, Tubas 10, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 9, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 101, Bethlehem 8, Hebron 3, Gaza Strip.” Gaza 358".

The minister explained that the deaths were distributed as follows: Gaza Strip 8, Qalqilya 2, Tulkarm 2, Al-Eizariya 1, Jenin 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Nablus 1.

The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 76 patients in intensive care rooms, while 221 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including 10 patients on artificial respirators.

She stated that the total number of citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 1,306,012, of whom 587,112 received the two doses of the vaccine.
