Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced that 6 deaths, 2,753 new infections with the Corona virus, and 2005 cases of recovery were recorded during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila indicated that the deaths were recorded in Nablus, Hebron, Tubas and Tulkarm.
Al-Kaila indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tulkarem 193, Qalqilya 62, Jenin 129, Tubas 32, Nablus 213, Salfit 54, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 110, Jerusalem suburbs 16, Hebron 32, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 5, Bethlehem 9, Gaza Strip 1805, City of Jerusalem 93".
Al-Kaila noted that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: “Tulkarm 129, Qalqilya 37, Jenin 148, Tubas 23, Nablus 177, Salfit 85, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 118, Jerusalem suburbs 11, Hebron 31, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 8, Bethlehem 17, Gaza Strip 1155, Jerusalem 66.
Al-Kaila said: "The recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 90.8%, while the percentage of active infections was 8.2%, and the death rate was 1% of the total infections."
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 76 injured people in intensive care rooms, while 185 are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including 19 on respirators.
With regard to the citizens who received the anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 1,241,641 including 515,623 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
