10 injured, including a journalist, as a result of the occupation´s suppression of a march in support of prisoners in Nablus

10 civilians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets, this evening, Monday, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of a peaceful march that headed towards the Hawara checkpoint, south of Nablus, in support of the prisoners in the occupation prisons.

The march was organized at the invitation of the National Committee to Support Prisoners in Nablus Governorate, in support of the prisoners, and against the policy of collective punishment against them by the occupation prisons administration. The participants carried the Palestinian flag and chanted slogans saluting the steadfastness of the prisoners.

The director of ambulance and emergency in the Red Crescent Society in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, told "Wafa" that 10 citizens were wounded by "rubber" bullets in different parts of the body, including a journalist and a woman, two of them were taken to hospital, in addition to the injury of more than twenty others from gas suffocation tears dropper.
