The US Congress decides to impeach Trump in the coming days

Today, Monday, American sources revealed the intention of Congress to dismiss US President Donald Trump, in light of the events in Washington.

CNN quoted sources in the US House of Representatives, "Congress," as confirmations indicating the latter's intention to issue a decision to dismiss US President Donald Trump, on charges of "incitement to disobedience."

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for vice president accepts Indiana Republican Gov. Mike Pence, after a speech during the third-day session of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, July 20, 2016.

According to the sources, the US House of Representatives is expected to vote on the resolution within days of next week.

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi confirmed to lawmakers late on Sunday that they would first vote on a resolution this week calling on Vice President Mike Pence and the government to remove President Donald Trump from office before moving to impeachment.

Pelosi said in a message, "The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on Monday or Tuesday on a resolution urging Pence to resort to the twenty-fifth amendment to the US Constitution that allows him and the government to dismiss the president if he is unable to perform his official duties.

After that, "the House of Representatives will proceed with introducing the accountability legislation," she added.

Last Wednesday, a group of President Donald Trump's supporters stormed the Congress headquarters while it was holding meetings to approve the results of the presidential elections, which were won by Democrat Joe Biden, after a rally in which the current US president refused to recognize the victory of his opponent.
