Iran announces uncovering clues about those involved in the assassination of Fakhrizadeh

 Iran announced today (Sunday) that it has uncovered clues about those involved in the assassination of nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

The semi-official Iranian news agency (Fars) quoted a statement issued by the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Security as saying that the measures taken by the employees of the Ministry of Security led to the finding of clues about those involved in the assassination of Fakhrizadeh.

The Ministry of Security added that the details of these procedures will be announced to citizens later.

The Ministry offered its condolences for the death of Fakhrizadeh, who was among the elites and loyalists in the Islamic Republic in terms of scientific, technical and defense manufacturing.

On Friday, the Iranian Defense Ministry announced the death of Fakhrizadeh, after what "armed terrorist elements" targeted near Tehran.

The Iranian army accused the United States of America and Israel of being behind the assassination of the nuclear scientist, stressing that this crime will not prevent Iran from proceeding on the path of peaceful progress and development, and that Tehran reserves "the right to take revenge on the enemy for his assassination."

On Saturday, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei called on the concerned officials to pursue the assassination of Fakhrizadeh, and to hold the perpetrators and those behind it accountable.
