Experts say banning "Huawei" will not harm the British technology industry

According to a study published today, Wednesday, that most IT professionals in Britain believe that their country's decision to prevent Huawei from participating in the infrastructure of the fifth generation networks will not cause harm to the country in the long term. Run.

The British government said in July that it would exclude Chinese technology giant Huawei from participating in the infrastructure of 5G networks, citing security concerns.

The survey, which included three thousand specialists in information technology, and conducted by the British Computer Association, the Chartered Institute of Information Technology, that 53% did not agree with this statement, while 51% said that excluding Huawei would make the British network safer.

48% of those surveyed said that the government plans to remove Huawei equipment by 2027, which is a realistic date, although 27% believe it will not be possible, according to a preliminary report issued by the British Press Association.

However, 28% of those surveyed said that British technology development would stop without Huawei, and 31% said they were concerned about the consequences of that ban.

Only 51% believe that the supply chain and manufacturing chains of the fifth generation networks will be completely trustworthy even after the exclusion of Huawei, while 31% said that Britain would not be safer without Huawei.
