King of Jordan: The annexation of "Israel" to lands in the West Bank will lead to a clash with us

Jordanian King Abdullah II said that taking "Israel" any steps to annex parts of the West Bank next July would lead to a "major clash" with his country .

In an interview with the German magazine "Der Spiegel", published Friday, he mentioned the latest developments related to the Middle East and the Corona pandemic .

The Jordanian monarch added: "The leaders who call for a one-state solution do not know its consequences."

In the same context, he asked, "What will happen if the Palestinian National Authority collapses? We will witness more chaos and extremism in the region."

Asked whether he would suspend the peace agreement signed between his country and "Israel" in 1994, he replied: "I do not want to launch threats or create an atmosphere of discord and bickering, but we are studying all options."

He continued, "We agree with many countries in Europe and the international community that the law of force should not be applied in the Middle East."

And at the end of last April, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed with the leader of the "Blue and White" party Benny Gantz, that the process of annexing large parts of the West Bank begin next July, including the Jordan Valley and all Israeli settlements in the West Bank .

Palestinian estimates indicate that the annexation will reach more than 30 percent of the occupied West Bank.
