Apple imposes restrictions on sales of its devices online due to the Corona virus

American electronics company Apple has decided to impose restrictions on the number of iPads and smartphones for the iPhone that any customer can buy online during the current week, due to the difficulties the company faces in producing devices As a result of the implications of the spread of the emerging corona virus (Covid19-). The company had previously decided to close all its traditional stores to limit the spread of the virus.

According to CNet.com, a specialist in technology issues, it is not allowed for anyone to buy more than two iPhones or iPads from Apple stores online. This restriction includes iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Max, as well as the new iPad Pro models that were unveiled last Wednesday. At the same time, customers can purchase any number of MacBook Air computers or Apple accessories.

The last time Apple imposed sales restrictions on its devices was in 2007, when it ran out of inventory for original iPhones.

Apple had warned last month of its potential failure to achieve the expected quarterly revenue due to the effects of the emerging Corona virus on its customers and production facilities in China, which is the largest production center for iPhones and the largest market in the world. And last January, Apple closed all stores in China, due to Corona, before it re-opened after that as the risk of the virus receded in China.
