A team of judges is set up to try Netanyahu, including the judge who condemned Olmert

It was announced today, Wednesday, that a team of judges is formed to try Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, before the Israeli Central Jerusalem Court.

He did not specify the date for the start of the trials that are expected to start after the general elections on the second of next month.

The judges are presided over by Judge Rivka Friedman Feldman who previously convicted former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of corruption cases, along with Judge Oded Shaham who previously convicted Minister Tzachi Hanegbi of corruption cases. As reported by Yediot Aharonot.

Netanyahu's trial may take several months to enable the judges to study the files and to consider any objections from his defense team.
