3 days before the Israeli parties to submit the electoral lists

The process of submitting the electoral lists of the Israeli parties that will run in the elections next March 2 will end within 3 days.

The Israeli political scene is witnessing a series of intensive contacts between the right parties on the one hand, and the left parties on the other hand in order to unite in common lists, amid difficulties facing the right parties more than the left.

According to the newspaper "Israel Hume", there are contacts between the leaders of the New Right party, Naftali Bennett and Elite Shaked, on the one hand, Rafi Peretz, leader of the Jewish Home Party, and Tzalel Smotrich, leader of the National Union Party, and Itamar Bin Jefer, leader of the Jewish Force party, who are leaders of the extreme right parties The religious and settler followers, on the other hand, aim to try to unite in a unified list, although this opportunity is weak.

It is estimated that the right may enter two lists, for Bennett, Shaked, and Smotrich to be in one list, and that Peretz and Ben-Jeffer be combined in another list.

Another scenario appears that Peretz could join Bennett-Shaked-Smotrich, leaving Ben-Jefeire alone so that they would not be prepared to link him to them under any circumstances.

The newspaper points out that a crucial meeting will be held on Wednesday or Thursday between Smotrich and Peretz to try to reach an agreement for a unified list between them, at least for now.

For its part, the Hebrew newspaper Ha'aretz reported that there are extensive contacts taking place among the center and left parties in order to present joint lists, and that there is an opportunity for success, especially between the Labor-Gesher party list, led by Amir Peretz, with the leadership of the democratic camp that includes the Meretz party led by Nitzan Horowitz.

Today, it is expected that a meeting will be held between Peretz and Horvich in order to try to reach an agreement to contest the elections with one list.
