Japan pledges to support the Palestinian economy and complete the Jericho industrial city project

The Japanese Minister of State, Deputy Foreign Minister Suzuki Kisko, affirmed his country's continued support for the Palestinian economy and moving forward with the completion of the Jericho Industrial and Agricultural City project, which reflects the partnership and friendship between the two countries.

This came during a field trip to the Japanese minister in the agricultural industrial city of Jericho today, accompanied by the Minister of National Economy Khaled Al-Osaili, the governor of Jericho Jihad Abu Al-Asal, the mayor of Jericho Salem Al-Gharrouf, the chairman of the developed company, Bassam Al-Wailwil, and the CEO of the industrial cities, Ali Shaath.

The Japanese minister stressed the need to join efforts regionally to accumulate the existing success and achieve more employment for the workforce, promising to provide more support for this strategic project.

For his part, Minister Al-Osaili, the guest minister, put in the form of the latest developments and developments of the project, and the achievements achieved, as well as challenges and a vision for the future of the project, pointing to the operation of 16 factories in the city, and the work is continuing in full swing with a real partnership between the government, the developer and the investors to complete the second stage From the project that was recently launched.

The minister called for the necessity of operating the information and communication center, which will increase the operating momentum of the industrial city by raising the level of services for investors, especially a national examination and research center to serve the project.

The participants visited Petra Glass factories, which is the second largest factory in the Middle East, and QFine and Buleya, which recently exported 10,000 packages to Japan.
