In a message.. North Korean leader asks to hold second meeting with Trump

Washington _ Agencies

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said on Monday that President Donald Trump had received a message from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un about arranging a second meeting between them and the White House wanted to meet.

The two leaders have already been discussing the Pyongyang nuclear program since their unprecedented summit on June 12 June, which has been criticized for not providing concrete details on how to abandon the nuclear weapons program that threatens the United States and whether Kim is ready to do so.

Trump told reporters on Friday that Kim's personal message was on her way.

Sanders described the message as "friendly and positive." She told reporters that a military parade in Pyongyang on Sunday is a sign of progress in the talks to be free of any long-range nuclear missiles.
