Settlers storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Gate of Mercy

Jewish extremists on Sunday renewed their raids on the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the strict guard of the Israeli police.

Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib, director general of the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem, said in a press statement that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the form of successive groups, through the Mughrabi Gate, guarding the Israeli occupation forces.

 He added: "Almost 100 settlers extremist Al-Aqsa, during the morning intrusions."

Also, members of the Israeli police stormed the chapel of Bab al-Rahma and toured inside their shoes, according to Khatib.

The settlers and Israeli police officers have recently stepped up their attacks and violations of the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulting its guards and guards, and removing dozens of them from the mosque for varying periods.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily (except Friday and Saturday) a series of intrusions and violations by settlers and various occupation arms.
