104 settlers storm the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday with reinforced military protection by the Israeli occupation forces.

The Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem, in a written statement, that "104 extremists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque today guarded by the Israeli police."

Under the protection of the Israeli police and its special forces, Jewish settlers often storm the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the "Mughrabi Gate", which has been under Israeli control since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967.

The so-called “temple” groups organize provocative tours in the courtyards of al-Aqsa from the “Mughrabi Gate” until the exit of the “Gate of the Chain”, with explanations about the “Temple”.

Since 2003, Israeli police have allowed settlers to storm the mosque through the Mughrabi Gate.

The Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem, which is affiliated to the Islamic Endowments Department in Jordan, which is responsible for the management of mosque affairs, demanded a halt to the incursions, but the Israeli police did not respond to this request.
