OCHA: “Gas bombs” killed 7 and injured thousands on the Gaza border

Karam Ibrahim Ali Abu Arafat, 26, a resident of 'Abasan al-Jadida (Al-Saghira) in Khan Yunis, was injured on 08.06.2018 in Khuza'a, also in Khan Yunis, by a tear gas canister and died on 23.07.2018 from his wounds.

Ahmad Mir Harb Abu Habil, 15 years old, a resident of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, died on 03.10.2018 by a tear gas canister in the industrial area of ​​Erez, also in the northern Gaza Strip. The gas bomb fired by the Israeli army hit his head and was inserted in it.

According to the report, 13-year-old Abdel Raouf Ismail Mohammed Salha, a resident of the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza governorate, was injured on 11.01.2019 by a tear gas canister in the Jabalya refugee camp and died on 14.01.2019 from his wounds. The gas bomb fired by the Israeli occupation forces hit his head when he was about 150 meters away from the separation fence and his back to him.

The report documented the martyrdom of Samir Ghazi Mahmoud al-Nabahin, 47, a resident of the Nuseirat refugee camp in Deir al-Balah governorate. Wounded on 18.01.2019 by a tear gas canister in al-Bureij refugee camp, also located in Deir al-Balah governorate, died on 29.01.2019 from his wounds.

The report confirmed that Hassan Nabil Ahmed Nofal, 16, a resident of Nuseirat refugee camp in Deir al-Balah. He was injured on 08.02.2019 by a tear gas canister in Bureij refugee camp and remained in a coma until he died on 12.02.2019 from his wounds.

The report concluded with the martyrdom of Bassam Sami Othman Safi, 22, a resident of Khan Younis refugee camp. He was injured on 22.02.2019 by a tear gas canister in Khuza'a, Khan Yunis. He remained in a coma until he died on 11.03.2019.
