RAMALLAH _ Palestine News Network

The PLO warned the Government of Israel against any infringement of the village of al-Khan al-Ahmar or the displacement of its inhabitants, which it considered a war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law and of all relevant international norms, laws and covenants.

Ahmed al-Tamimi, a member of the Executive Committee of the PLO, and the head of the human Rights and civil society Department of the Organization, said in a press statement on Wednesday that the decision of the Israeli High Court today, which refused to seek the residents of the Red Khan, and ordered the evacuation and demolition of the village, is A politicized decision to mislead world public opinion and conceal the Israeli Government's prior intentions to demolish the village of al-Khan al-Ahmar and displace its inhabitants.

Al-Tamimi said that the Israeli Government's implementation of the Israeli Supreme decree to demolish the village of al-Khan al-Ahmar and displace its population is a flagrant challenge for the entire world and a serious violation of international humanitarian law and human rights.

Al-Tamimi concluded by calling on the countries of the world, the Arab and Islamic nations, the Human Rights Council and the UN to act urgently to stop these dangerous trends of the occupation government and its ongoing violations of international law. He also called on the Palestinian people to unite and unite to overthrow and frustrate this resolution.
