A Chinese lunar exploration vehicle is traveling 212 meters on the far side of the moon

The Chinese Lunar Exploration Vehicle (YOTO-2) has traveled 212.99 meters on the far side of the moon to carry out scientific exploration on virgin soil.

The Changchu-4 landing and navigation vehicle turned into a hibernation night on Sunday (Beijing time), according to the Center for the Moon and Space Exploration Program, China's National Space Administration.

China's Chang-e-4 probe, launched on Dec. 8, 2018, landed for the first time on the crater of the Von Carmen volcano in the Antarctic-Antarctic basin on the far side of the moon on Jan. 3.

The lunar day equals 14 days on Earth, and the lunar night equals the same length. The Chang'e-4 probe turned into hibernation during the Lunar Night due to solar power shortage.

During the sixth day of the probe on the moon, the scientific equipment in the landing gear was well worked, and about 1654 megabytes of scientific monitoring data were sent to the basic research team for analysis.
