Netanyahu begins consultations today on forming his new government

Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu began consultations on Sunday to form his new government after he was appointed by Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to form the 21-member Committee and received a recommendation from the parties on the matter at the expense of his rival Benny Gantz is a blue -white party leader.

Netanyahu will meet with Yariv Levin at 10:30 this morning, Avigdor Lieberman and leaders of his party, "Yisrael Beitenu" to begin consultations between them on the approach of the latter's party to the new coalition government.

Lieberman said that Yisrael Beiteinu is adhering to its principles regarding the security situation, especially regarding the relationship with Hamas, as well as the file of immigration and absorption and the law of recruitment for religious Haredim.

He said in a tweet on Twitter that he will be flexible and calm to achieve the objectives of his party, without abandoning any of the principles launched during his campaign.

While Levin said that negotiations to form a new coalition government will not be easy, and hopes that the parties will assume responsibility and conduct negotiations willingly, to establish a stable government.

Netanyahu will face great difficulties in forming a coalition government, especially in light of the differences between Lieberman and the leaders of the ultra-Orthodox parties who seek to reject the draft law in the last form, which sparked the differences in the previous coalition and led to early elections.
