The Gaza Strip witnessed the birth of 3403 children in February, an average of 121 births per day, according to a statistics released by the General Administration of Civil Status in the Ministry of Interior.
The statistics showed that 50.20% of the births were males, with 1708 births, compared to 49.8% females by 1695.
The Gaza Strip registered 1233 births, while Khan Yunis registered 713 births, 600 in the north, 469 in Al Wasta and 388 in Rafah.
The death toll was 295 in the Gaza Strip, 59% were male, 174 deaths, compared to 41% in 121 cases.
